Salamander Cottage is suitable for couples, and families.

Salamander Cottage is spacious, with a separate lounge, large family/living room, and is attractively furnished.

The outdoor covered patio is adjacent to the living areas and captures sea breezes.

The 3 bedrooms are separately located giving greater privacy and space. Bedding configuration - 2 queen rooms, the third bedroom has 2 single ensembles. Linen and towels are supplied.

The large bathroom has a separate bath and shower, separate toilet [one of 2], and separate hand basin area. 

Salamander Cottage is well equipped – a modern kitchen [microwave and dishwasher], reverse cycle air conditioner, ceiling fans and entertainment facilities, full laundry facilities, and outdoor line.

The double lock up garage can store a boat/canoes/surfboards/dingy, or 2 cars. Or use the space as a family playroom [table tennis].

Features: The house is a short level walk to the bay-side reserve and beach Georges Reserve, [pedestrian access walkway]. This water front reserve has views of the bay through to Port Stephens Heads – Tomaree and Yacaaba.  You can walk for miles along the foreshores and take in the stunning views, and birdlife. Fish, snorkel, canoe or boat locally, take a picnic to the many water-front parks and relax. Surf beaches are only 10 minutes away.

Shops, cafes, Salamander Shores Hotel [bottle shop/bar/dining], restaurants, a local club are all within 5 to 10 minute walks. Several boat ramps are a few minutes by car as is the Horizon's Golf course. It is all here locally, but the Nelson Bay Marina and Shopping Centre is only a 10 minute scenic drive away.
